Miranda is a freelance audio producer, journalist and oral historian as well as mum to a son and daughter and the keeper of a pair of Rhode Island Reds.
Well, radio and more specifically audio. She got hooked to listening to local radio phone ins around ’87. Radio Four was always on in the house. She dragged poor friends into making radio drama on her little tape recorder. She never wanted to be on the radio though, just making it with someone else in front of the mic. These days she makes radio and audio but would especially love to make it about her other passion..
Music. She’s a complete sucker for a well crafted song, complex chords, pristine production. If she had to pick a genre she would say the post punk era: artists that appeared around the late 70s such as Prefab Sprout, Scritti Politti, Thomas Dolby, Kate Bush. Sitting quite comfortably with this very British crowd is the wonderful Steely Dan. She doesn’t just listen to the above, but if you asked her for her top five that would be them.

Gina is not the Australian dance act, let’s clear that one up. She’s a cheeky lass from Leeds who has been on the edge of music scenes since she was a teen in the early 80s. Gina is not her real name but G is, which is short for Gepstake.
She doesn’t Tweet or Facebook.
Rozonda lives in the South of Spain. She has a degree in English Philology and has worked as a translator and teacher, but today she’s making a living out of another of her passions, Tarot, which she started studying more than 20 years ago. She has an online Tarot parlour. (its OK, Rozonda, you can plug it here if you like)
Her other passions are books, art, languages and of course music. She’s in love with 80s music, and has been a Prefab Sprout fan since she was 16. Other bands she loves are Scritti Politti and Aztec Camera. She also listens to a lot of soul, contemporary RnB and HipHop.
